Analysis of stamping equipment selection

(1) prerequisites for press selection

① the nominal pressure of the selected press must be greater than the total production stamping pressure required for stamping, that is, f press>f total

② the stroke size of the press should be appropriate

but it does not affect the user's use ③ the closing height of the selected press should be compatible with the closing height of the die

④ the size of the working table of the press must be larger than the overall size of the lower mold base of the mold, and there must be room for installation and fixation

the selection of press includes the selection of press type and press specification

(2) selection of press type

① for the production of small and medium-sized blanking parts, bending parts or deep drawing parts, open mechanical presses should be mainly used

② for the production of large and medium-sized stamping parts on the transmission system, double column closed mechanical presses are mostly used, including general-purpose presses, as well as special extrusion pressures with small table top and high stiffness, such as 2014 medium machine, fine press, etc

③ eccentric press shall be used for guide plate die or die requiring guide sleeve not to leave guide column

④ high speed press or multi station automatic press shall be selected for stamping parts with complex shape produced in large quantities

⑤ friction press is selected for small batch production in leveling, shaping and warm extrusion processes

⑥ precision press with high rigidity shall be selected for sheet blanking and precision blanking

joint laboratories have been established with Beijing University of technology, Nanjing University of technology, Peking University and other universities ⑦ double or triple action presses are used for large and complex shaped deep drawing parts

⑧ hydraulic presses are often used in the forming process of large thick plates in small batch production

(3) selection of press specification

① nominal pressure

② slider stroke length

③ number of trips

④ workbench size

⑤ size of slider die handle hole

⑥ closing height

⑦ selection of motor power
